It's an honor to be your child's music teacher! This page contains information about my enrichment music classes, registration, tuition, and my current policies.

Who can enroll?

I am currently offering music classes to children ages birth-preK at Yellow Brick Road's four locations: Downtown, Norwalk and West Des Moines and Grimes and New Horizon Academy downtown Des Moines. I will visit their center weekly and each child enrolled gets a 30 minute music class with other children signed up in their age group. You can enroll your child at any point throughout the month/year.
What will they do in class?

Classes are grouped by your child's age and will be tailored to fit their developmental skills. Babies will have fun with bounces, wiggles, and rhymes to begin exploring music, steady beat, and singing. Mobile infants and older children will begin exploring a variety of instruments, learn how to use their singing voice properly, practice keeping the steady beat, dramatic play, movement activities, simple circle games, and parachute fun. My guitar, ukulele, and pan drum take turns making their appearance at each class too! Parents will receive a monthly newsletter to see what songs we're singing, skills we're working on, and more!
How do I enroll my child in music classes?

If you would like to enroll your child in weekly music classes, head over to the 'Enrichment Programs' page under 'Register' and fill out the registration form. For families with multiple children, please submit one form for each child. After you've registered your child, head to my 'Payments' page to pay for their class tuition.
Tuition Information

Tuition is $40 a month per child, with a discount for any additional children in the same family. I accept Credit, Debit, or PayPal through my website. After you register your child, please go to the 'Payments' page. You'll be able to select your payment plan, create an account and make your payment. You can enroll in recurring payments or make a one time payment. Recurring payments will continue until you cancel your plan. To view your payment history or to make changes to your payment plan visit "My Subscriptions" in the member login bar. You do not need to wait for the start of a new calendar month to register your child. Your child's "month" of music begins whenever your first payment is made. I keep track of the timing of your payments and should you decide to take a break from music classes or your child ages out of the center I will make sure your child receives all the classes you've paid for and/or I will issue a refund to settle your account.
